Summary Police officers to be used for the collection of bills from WASA defaulters.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif approved a summary to use police for the collection of bills from Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) defaulters on Saturday.
According to details, WASA had been issuing a number of notices to the defaulters over the last few months. However, all the efforts remained useless and decided to use police to recover bills.
According to WASA, in the first phase, Rs 427 million will be recovered from 3003 WASA defaulters whereas steps for the improvement of WASA administration have also been taken under consideration.
