Daru-Islam has been proposed as the new name of NWFP instead of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa at a public gathering in Peshawar. Addressing the gathering the speakers alleged the government of plotting conspiracy to make the Pukhtoons fight amongst each other.A protest rally was organized in Karachi by Hazara division. The protesters demanded the creation of Hazara province and against the renaming of NWFP. Nawaz Sharaf has betrayed to the people of Hazara: Shujaat PML-Q leader Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain has said that his party would cast vote against renaming of NWFP as Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.Addressing a gathering, Chaudhary Shujaat charged that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharaf has betrayed to the people of Hazara for repealing of the ban on third time premiership.Shujaat Hussain accused that Nawaz Sharif has deceived to the people of Hazara. He was of view that a movement has been started in Hazara for creation of a new province, adding that PML-Q would support this movement. No objections on Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa: Qazi Hussain Ahmad Former ammer of Jamaat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmad said that his party has no issues with the name of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa but will this stop the current wave of drone attacks in the province. Hazara division is an integral part of NWFP: Hoti Chief Minister NWFP Ammer Haider Khan Hoti said that he would take steps to ensure that people offended by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa should understand the governments point of view. He added that Hazara division is an integral part of NWFP.
