Shahbaz Sharif visits flood victims in Pindi Bhattian
CM Punjab expressed annoyance on noticing a huge number of cars along with government members.
PINDI BHATTIAN (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif announced to direct the first installment of aid packages to the flood victims on his visit to Pindi Bhattian today (Wednesday).
CM Punjab visited Pindi Bhattiyan for the distribution of monetary aid among the flood affectees and examined the monetary aid centre that has been installed.
During his visit, Shahbaz Sharif expressed severe anger over noticing numerous cars along with a big lot of government members. He rebuked commissioner Gujranwala and DCO Hafizabad, said it isn’t a wedding procession.
On the other hand, ministers and officers of various departments participated in the meeting of Cabinet Committee for Flood Relief that was presided over by CM Punjab.
He advised the provincial ministers and secretaries to offer Eid prayer with flood victims.
The first installment of aid shall target 16 affected districts simultaneously where 78 centers have been installed.
