HANGU (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader Sher Alam Farooqi was shot dead on Sunday as some unknown armed men opened fire in Hangu, Dunya News reported.
Maulana Sher Alam Farooqi was on his way to madrassa in his car when some unidentified gunmen opened fire in Tor Gundai area of Doaba in district Hangu. JUI-F leader and his companion died on the spot while the assailants successfully escaped soon after opening the fire.
SHO of Doaba Amirullah Khan and other law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and have begun further investigations into the firing incident.
