ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday admitted that party chief Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri indeed met in London, adding that both leaders only exchanged views and no written agreement took place, Dunya News reported.

Responding to Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique’s questions, Qureshi said that it is common for leaders to meet asking what the big deal is if Qadri and Khan met in London.

Retracting party’s previous stance, Qureshi said Shireen Mazari denied the meeting because “she didn’t know”.

Answering a question, he said that a leader is entitled to reveal information whenever they feel right.

Earlier, Khawaja Saad Rafique termed PTI, PAT’s sit-in protests in Islamabad as ‘London plan’ and had raised questions over the nature of the meeting.
