Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry refused to give more time to NAB and warned that the Chairman NAB would be jailed for contempt of court. During the hearing against NRO, NAB chairman extended conditional excuse to the court.However, the apex court refused to give further time to NAB and Federation in this regard. On asked by the court proceeding on NRO case, Naveed told the court that he is on leave since March 9, and excused for his laxity. Enlisting his excuses, Naveed noted that NAB is faced with difficulty in this regard as the president enjoys indemnity and the cases abroad come under the limits of Law Ministry.The CJ asked NAB chairman to stop advocating any person adding that NAB is making fun of the case; nobody has moved the court vis--vis indemnity. The CJ warned that if the practice continued, even the constable would dare to disobey the court.
