6 cusecs of flood wave dumped by India in River Chenab is heading towards Pakistan's Marala.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The dangerously high water level in various rivers prompted the authorities to issue flood warning on Thursday in various areas, putting flood management on high alert.
India also issued alert to Pakistan as it dumped 6 lakh cusecs flood wave in River Chenab which is heading towards Pakistan’s Marala Headworks.
India issued an alert to Pakistan warning of the dangerous floods. All Indian dams on Ravi, Chenab and Satluj have reached their maximum capacity.
The flood warning was also issued in Pakistan Railways and the Emergency Flood Center of Railways Headquarters has been told to stay on high alert.
The monitoring of railway tracks situated near rivers Chenab, Ravi and Satluj was also heightened. Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif also summoned Railway authorities this evening.

An official red alert has been issued in Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat and Mandi Bahauddin districts.
The formal warning was also issued in Kasur, Okara and Vihari districts. The water level is continuously rising in River Ravi as well and emergency was declared following the situation.
The concerned departments also cancelled the vacations of staffers. Various departments were put on high alert in Sindh as well after issuance of ‘rain emergency’.
