Both leaders expressed satisfaction on developments that took place during the Pak US strategic dialogue. They also agreed to enhance relations between the two countries.Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi told Reuters in an interview that meetings with US officials on nuclear cooperation, nonproliferation and export controls had gone well.Pakistan is pushing for a nuclear cooperation arrangement similar to one India has with the United States but Washington has so far been reluctant to enter into any formal talks on the issue. General Ashfaq Pervaz Kayani said that the change of American attitude could be attributed to the sacrifices made by the Pakistani nation in the ongoing war against terror. He said that South Waziristan has been cleared from miscreants and terrorists.Kayani added that most of Pakistans problem could be resolved if Pakistan can overcome its energy crisis.
