Model Town vandalism: Police challan declares Gullu Butt guilty
Prosecution department presented a 50-page challan in ATC.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Police have presented a challan in the anti-terrorism court today (Saturday), declaring prime accused Gullu Butt guilty in the Model Town vandalism case, Dunya News reported.
During case proceedings today, prosecution department presented a 50-page challan. The challan states that Gullu Butt was identified and arrested through a video, however, it could not be ascertained that who directed him to commit the vandalism.
After collecting the challan, ATC has issued summon notices to all the witnesses for next hearing.
Baton-wielding Gullu Butt, an alleged PML-N activist and a Punjab police tout, was arrested after he was caught on cameras damaging several vehicles during a clash between Pakistan Awami Tehreek workers and police in Lahore s Model Town on June 17.
