ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has summoned a key session on August 26.

The session will review the current political situation and the allegations of election rigging levelled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan.

The session, scheduled for Tuesday in Islamabad, will be chaired by acting Chief Election Commissioner Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali.

According to sources, the session will review all the allegations of election rigging levelled by PTI chief Imran Khan. The session will also discuss the issue of printing additional ballot papers.

Thousands of protesters marched on Islamabad against the alleged rigging in general elections 2013 on the call of PTI chief Imran Khan.

The sit-in protest has entered its eleventh day. The anti-government demonstrators demand the resignation of the PM.
