Federal govt moves LHC to grill Dr AQ Khan

The federal government has filed a petition with the Lahore High Court to question nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer about a media interview.The federal government in its petition argued that Dr Qadeer has disclosed national secrets in his recent interview to Washington Post and showed irresponsible attitude. The federal government says that Dr Qadeer should not have given interviews to a foreign publication while restrictions have been imposed on him. The federal government claims that the interviews were published in the Washington post on March 10 and 14. The government has pleaded to the court to grant permission for grilling the nuclear scientist. Dr Qadeer has denied the allegations.
