Summary PTI chief Imran Khan has once again asked PM Nawaz Sharif to resign and hold fresh election.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan once again asked PM Nawaz Sharif to step down and hold new election as he has no other option.

Imran said that he had not slept for the past 40 hours and could remain awake for another 40 hours for the sake of people of Pakistan.

Imran said that he would continue to lead protests in Islamabad along with thousands of his supporters until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif steps down.

Imran said that the May 2013 general election that brought Sharif to power in a landslide was rigged, and has asked him to resign and hold new polls.

Addressing a mammoth rally at Serena Chowk at the Kashmir Highway, Islamabad after leading protesters from Lahore, Imran said he would stage a sit-in at 3:00pm today (Saturday) that would continue until Nawaz Sharif leaves office.

"The time has arrived when the nation should decide. I will stay here until the prime minister resigns. We don t accept a prime minister who has been appointed after rigged elections," PTI chief told supporters in the early hours of Saturday after arriving in the capital.
