LAHORE (Web Desk) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chairman Sirajul Haq on Thursday said that his party’s struggle for peaceful Independence Day will be fruitful, Dunya News reported.
Talking to media on the occasion of flag hoisting ceremony in Lahore, Sirajul Haq said his party has tried its best to thwart anarchy and unrest on this special day.
We successfully mediated between the government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Today, road blockades have been removed, he added.
He said the government and other political parties have still lot of work to do.
Sirajul Haq suggested that authorities should keep eyes on the people with ill-intentions to foil their plans.
He expressed determination to continue his struggle to make Pakistan an Islamic welfare state.
