American government has adopted a new policy of give-and-take for issuing visas to Pakistani nationals. Employees of the Foreign Office (FO) and Accounts Office have not been granted visas for the last five months.According to sources from FO, three employees of FO and six employees of Accountant General Office had filed applications for American visas in the category of Diplomatic A-1 five months ago but they have not been issued the visa yet. American consulate is still undecided on 34 applications which were applied for the same category.According to sources, American government has requested for 800 visas for Pakistan but the delay from the Pakistani government has forced the Americans to adopt reciprocating strategy. Although the FO has raised the issue to with the American government but there was no response on the issue.
