MULTAN (Web Desk) – Citizens are feeling unsafe due to continuous rise in the crime rate in the eastern Pakistani city of Multan this year, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

A report revealed that around 102 incidents of robberies, 2,260 theft cases, 160 murders, 94 cases of kidnapping for ransom and five gang rape incidents took place in the city this year.

Police authorities claim that they are facing difficulty to tackle criminals due to lack of force and unavailability of latest weapons.

It may be mentioned here that there are 4,000 policemen at thirty one police stations across Multan.
