The government has announced to form a 3-judge commission regarding the missing persons case.During the hearing of missing persons case, Justice Javed Iqbal deplored that the number of missing persons is increasing instead of reducing, saying that the situation is alarming.Attorney General Anwar Mansoor Khan told the apex court that every institution is working efficiently, however, added that no proceeding has been taken place in this regard. He added that the government is going to form a 3-judge bench comprising a retired judge of Supreme Court besides two from the High Court. The statement added that all the concerned ministries would be accountable to the said bench.The AG said that after getting Judges nod in this regard a notification would be issued to constitute a committee. Justice Javed Iqbal observed that if the law enforcement agencies feel that the laws could not tackle with terrorism and else than it should legislate new laws.He remarked that he wanted to give verdict; however, he added that the judicial commission should be given more time.
