Summary Rangers seized a licensed weapon from MQM leader's house during the raid.
KARACHI (Web Desk) – During ongoing targeted action in the metropolis, Rangers personnel conducted door-to-door search in PIB Colony where Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Deputy Convener and MNA Farooq Sattar’s house is situated, Dunya News reported.
During the action, Rangers have arrested Sattar’s three neighbours including Yasir, Shamshad and Kashmir. A security camp outside the residence of MQM leader was also removed.
Talking to media, Farooq Sattar confirmed the raid and said that after the removal of a security camp outside his house, he was left unprotected .
He said Rangers also seized a licensed weapon from his house during the raid.
Farooq Sattar has urged the Chief Minister of Sindh and DG Rangers to take notice of the incident.
On the other hand, MQM Coordination Committee strongly condemned the incident. The party has urged the authorities to take action against those involved and release the arrested suspects.
