The bodies found today were distorted and were recognized by the families of the deceased through their clothes and other belongings. 5 of the bodies have not yet been identified and have been kept at Edhi cold-storage.

Police has been deployed at Sea-View, Clifton, in heavy numbers while families of the missing people are also present there. Relatives of the drowned protested earlier today against the delay in search operation.

Civil administration has banned the citizens from swimming on the beach in view of this event to ensure public safety. Though barriers have been placed at various areas to bar the people from reaching the beach yet people are still trying to reach the beach somehow.

Harsh words were exchanged between Police and citizens at some places. Police baton-charged a few people swimming in the sea but the moment police left, miscreants were again seen playing in the water.

Later, more policemen were deployed at the beach to prevent the people from entering the sea-water. Karachi civil administration has imposed a three-month ban on swimming in the sea.
