PM asks Imran Khan to clarify 'real agenda' behind long march
Nawaz Sharif said the govt is actively working on the economic reforms.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News/Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who arrived back to Pakistan earlier today said that Imran Khan had accepted election results and is now pursuing the long march, adding that Khan should reveal his true intentions behind the protest march.
Prime Minister spoke to the press before his departure from Jeddah. He said that the people of Pakistan voted in favor of democracy in 2013 elections, adding that the government’s agenda is of economic reforms and that the government is actively working on it. He said the government is seriously committed to resolve public issues and to bring people out of the crises.
Nawaz Sharif said that PTI chief had accepted the election results despite expressing concerns, adding that why Khan was protesting one year after the elections.
Talking about Balochistan, the Prime Minister said that things are moving towards stability in that province. He said there has been significant decrease in Balochistan issues.
He urged overseas Pakistanis to play their role in mitigating the sufferings of IDPs.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has now arrived back to Lahore from Saudi Arabia.
