Summary NADRA had unearthed massive rigging in the PS-114 constituency.
KARACHI (Web Desk) – The Election Tribunal on Friday declared the result of the PS-114 constituency in Karachi null and void, Dunya News reported.
During general election 2013, Irfanullah Marwat of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) won the seat with over 37,000 votes while Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) Abdur Rauf Siddiqui was the runner-up with 30,000 votes.
Siddiqui had accused the winning candidate of rigging the votes.
Today, the election tribunal nullified the result and ordered re-election for the constituency located in Karachi’s Mehmoodabad area.
