Taseer airs concern over Shahbazs request to Taliban

Governor Salman Taseer expressed grave concern over the statement of Punjab CM that PML-N and Taliban are brothers.He added that by saying so, Shahbaz has proved that he is successor of late Gen Zia.He deplored that Quaid-e-Azam would have turned in his grave over Shahbazs request to the Taliban that they should spare Punjab. He said the crime rate in the province has increased by 30 to 40 percent. Meanwhile, CM Shahbaz denied giving any such statement saying that his address at Jamia Naeemia has been misinterpreted. I replied to Hamid Mirs questions, the CM maintained.
