Summary Federal govt should focus on providing relief to IDPs and on reducing load shedding, he said
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon on Saturday told the federal government to stop unnecessary interference into the affairs of the Sindh government, Dunya News reported.
In a statement, Memon said that Sindh will not accept any form of dictation from the federation, adding that the federal government should focus on resolving the issues concerning the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan and on reducing electricity load shedding.
He said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) always acted with political maturity, alleging that the affectees of North Waziristan operation are completely ignored by the federal government.
Memon said that the federal government must stop interfering in the affairs of Sindh government as per the 18th amendment of the constitution. He said that unlike what Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led Punjab government did to the Prime Minister and President in the past, PPP led Sindh government has never had a prejudicial attitude towards the current Prime Minister and the President.
