Rajanpur: Bomb planted at railway track defused
BDS deactivated 10 kg explosives installed near the railway track of Rajanpur.
RAJANPUR (Dunya News) – Authorities on Monday foiled an attempt to blow up Khushhal Khattak Express by successfully defusing a 10kg heavy bomb planted by the track at Fazalpur area of Rajanpur, Dunya News reported.
According to reports, terrorists planed a barbaric attack on the innocent passengers of Khushal Khan Khattak Express. In order to implement their evil intents a 10 kilogram of explosive material was planted on the railway trail. However, track patroller informed the district administration by signaling the antenna. The administration summoned the bomb disposal squad who deactivated the bomb.
According to General Manager (GM) Railway, Anjum Pervaiz, prompt alert by the patroller saved many precious lives. Prompt information rescued Khushal Khan Khattak Express in time.
KK Express was scheduled to pass through the track an hour and a half later from the place where the bomb was spotted. KK Express was stopped near Jampur until the bomb was defused. The patroller who informed of the bomb would also be rewarded.
