Summary Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) ended the sit-in after acceptance of demands.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen ended the 11-hour long sit-in in front of the Supreme Court Registry after successful negotiations with government officials.
Earlier, a protest rally against sectarian targeted killing was organized by Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) in Karachi on Sunday.
The rally started at Numaish area and ended at Supreme Court Registry due to the closure of roads leading to the Chief Minister House after which the participants staged a sit-in outside the Supreme Court Registry.
The sit-in ended peacefully after government officials assured the MWM leaders that all their demands have been accepted.
Advisor to CM Sindh, Waqar Mehdi, Commissioner Karachi, Shoaib Siddique and Additional IS Ghulam Qadir Theebo negociated with the delegation of MWM which included Ameen Mashadi and Maulana Hassan Zafar Naqvi.
