Summary Government's women members of Punjab Assembly cut cake to mark the day.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Rallies to celebrate 16th Youm-e-Takbir (Day of Greatness) – the day when Pakistan tested its nuclear power – were held in various cities. Participants cut cakes, distributed sweet and prayers for national security were held, Dunya News reported.
A large number of members and workers participated in ‘Takbir Convoy’ organized by Jamaat-ud-Dawa from Rawat to Islamabad. Participants were greeted with fervour by people on several occasions on their stops in various cities.

Another rally was organized in Quetta by Jamaat-ud-Dawa Balochistan from Meezan Chowk to Press Club.
Jamaat-ud-Dawa also held rallies in Peshawar.
A large number of women participated in the rally in Multan.
