ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said while meeting party members from Sindh on Wednesday that Karachi is economic hub and that establishing peace there is critically important, Dunya News reported.
Prime Minister met his party’s members belonging to Sindh in Islamabad and discussed the issues including law and order of the province.
The leadership also exchanged views on the ongoing development projects in the province.
Talking on the occasion, Prime Minister said that restoration of peace in Karachi is top priority of the government. He said that the provincial capital is also the economic center where establishing peace is of utmost importance.
Prime Minister said that the construction of Lahore to Karachi motorway will begin in next few months which will create several lakh employment opportunities.
Those present in the meeting include Ameer Bakhsh Bhutto, Saleem Zia, Marvi Memon, Ayaz Shirazi, Bhawan Das Resham Lal, Irfan Marwat, Hamayun Khan, Shafi Jamut, Shah Hussain Shirazi, Raheela Magsi, Aqeel Jatoi and Arbab Ghulam Raheem.
Earlier, addressing a gathering on occasion of 16th anniversary of Youm-e-Takbeer, Sharif said that his agenda is not political but economical. He said that the agendas of train marchers and long marchers are beyond comprehension.
He said that those who want to politick can do so at the time of election, adding that no one will listen to the false accusations now.
Prime Minister said that he won’t rest until the curse of load shedding is ended. He said that his party will take the country to the path of prosperity if they get ‘10 years to work.’
