Parliaments Committee for Constitutional Reforms has started work on the most difficult task of provincial autonomy.In the very first session nationalist parties have demanded for royalties on oil and gas, apart from the royalties the nationalist parties have also demanded share of sales tax and transferring the administrative issues of ports to the provinces.Issues relating to provincial autonomy topped the agenda of committees meeting held with its chairman Senator Raza Rabbani in chair. The bigger parties and nationalist parties could not develop consensus on the provincial autonomy issue. MQM, ANP, Pukhtoon Khaw Mili party PPP-Sherpao all presented their demands of share in sales tax and royalty of oil and gas to the committee.
