Police arrested scores of educational boards personnel from across Punjab as their protest enters 14th day today.Police nabbed around 200 board employees from Dera Ghazi Khan and 14 from Sargodha and besieged the Board buildings there.In Lahore, two members of Board Union namely Superintendent Qari Latif and its Finance Secretary Ilyas Gujjar were copped.Police cordoned the Boards building, however, the protesting staff member managed to force their entry into the office.The matriculation exams scheduled to be held on March 13 seemed to be in jeopardy owing to the ongoing strike and protests.The protesting staff members maintained that due to non-availability of funds, all the Boards got bankrupted across the province. It may be mentioned that the protest and strike were prompted over non-payment of grants to education boards from Punjab government.
