Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has awarded five cities of NWFP with Hilal-e-Essar for rendering huge sacrifices during the war against terror today.Addressing the ceremony in this regard in Peshawar, the PM noted that the war could not be won sans public support.The PM while conferring Hilal-e-Essar upon Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi and Nowshehra,said that NWFP has been facing the war on terror as a frontline province.He added that though the MPAs were being targeted and blasts did occur on daily basis, yet the government decided to fight back those challenging its writ.He maintained that to work for the prosperity of the country is his governments agenda. He hailed the army for offering sacrifices for the country.Meanwhile, NWFP CM Hoti said that an existential war is being fought in the province and hailed the PM for playing key role in addressing its issues on preferential basis.
