The Federal Minister for Information Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that Benazir Bhutto had indicated dangers to her life before coming to Pakistan. He also said that Pakistan Peoples Party always practices the politics of reconciliation. The reconciliation of this level was a new concept in Pakistan that is to make alliances between two forces which had extremely opposite school of thought. He said that we took this thought ahead however we have faced a lot of difficulties. Kaira said that we can all make mistakes. He said sometimes workers and second tier leadership of the parties damage larger interest of the party by acting irresponsibly. Kaira added that this is our tradition. It may continue in the near future as well. Kaira said that all challenges including inflation, unemployment, and appointment of judges would be solved with consensus. We believe that we have to take forward the policies of Benazir Bhutto.Kaira requested that we all have to review our behaviors. Kaira hinted that there are forces in PML-N who do not accept the friendship between the two parties and cannot stand the politics of reconciliation. He accused Chaudhry Nisar as the biggest trouble maker and his behavior is the most difficult part.Kaira also said that they do not want to destabilize Punjab that is why they are sitting in the coalition. He also informed that the PML-N activist and leadership call us names every day but we want to save Pakistan that is why we ignore them. We would continue sitting in Punjab Assembly for the larger interest of Pakistan.Kaira said we have always addressed the core issues of Pakistan. During 1970 to 1977 Zulfiakar Bhutto also addressed the core issues. PPP has to make tough decisions.
