The Supreme Court has completed the hearing of the case challenging the Grade-22 promotions disregarding the seniority by the PM today.Earlier, the 3-member bench, headed by Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, reserved its ruling, but later issued notices to the 54 bureaucrats, who got promoted, for their stance on the issue.Attorney General Anwar Mansoor told the court that the promotions were made under the law.During the hearing, Chief Executive of PIDC Gul Muhammad told the court that he would quit if the SC revoked his promotion.The apex court said that it would release the verdict after a perusal of written statements of all the officials concerned.
