President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday said Pakistan wanted meaningful and result-oriented talks with India including the resumption of stalled composite dialogue. He was talking to Pakistans High Commissioner to India Shahid Malik who called on him at the Presidency and discussed matters relating to relations with India. The High Commissioner also briefed the President about Indian offer for secretary-level talks and the Pak-India dialogue process. The President said good neighborly relations were essential for the welfare of the people of both countries and also for fighting militancy.
