CM Punjab calls on Army chief

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif met with Army chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani at the Army House. The meeting was held to exchange views regarding the ongoing training by the Army to the Elite force. The meeting also focused on measures to prevent future terrorist act in Punjab.In addition, they also reviewed the ongoing public sector development projects in Punjab and discussed methods to improve the contributions to projects from NLC and FWO.After the meeting speaking to the media at Islamabad airport Shahbaz Sharif said his meeting with the Army chief was useful. He said that he had detailed discussion on security situation of Punjab.
