Summary MPs attending drinking and dancing parties should be disqualified, the petitioner stated.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court to disqualify parliamentarians involved in immoral activities in the parliament lodges, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
Petition Mehmood Akhtar Naqvi requested the court to direct concerned authorities to probe Jamshed Dasti’s allegation.
He added that parliamentarians attending drinking and dancing parties at parliamentary lodges should be disqualified.
The petitioner has also requested the court to summon Jamshed Dasti to court along with the evidence.
NA Speaker, Chairman Senate, Interior Secretary and Election Commission of Pakistan have been made respondents in the petition.
Earlier on Monday, Dasti handed over video evidence to NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq in order to prove his allegations.
Jamshed Dasti provided the evidence videos comprising of 4 clips which consist footages of relatives of different parliamentarians busy in immoral activities in the parliament lodges.
