KARACHI (Dunya News) – The police shifted MQM worker Fahad to a private hospital of Gulistan-e-Johar after his condition deteriorated.

The reports said that Fahad was undergoing treatment at ICU while his family stated his condition critical. The hospital sources disclosed that Fahad was tortured during custody.
On the other hand, MQM is holding a press conference in Khursheed Begum Memorial Hall. Party chief Atlaf Hussain will also hold a telephonic address to the workers.
According to sources, the MQM chief will protest against the extra-judicial killings of its party workers while the meeting will discuss its future course of action in this regard.
Fahad was arrested Saturday night when he was leading his Baraat from Korangi to Aurangi Town. The police, wearing plain clothes intercepted at Shah Faisal Bridge Colony. Soon after the arrest, the family staged sit-in outside CM House and protested against the arrest of its family member.
The police said the accused Fahad was involved in a number of criminal activities and investigation was underway. The accused will soon be presented before court, the police added.
