ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Police have finalised a compliance report over ex-president Pervez Musharraf’s arrest warrant in the treason case, Dunya News reported on Thursday.

Inspector General of police will submit the report before the special court on Friday.

On February 3, the former military ruler was served with an arrest warrant by the police at Armed Forces Institution of Cardiology (AFIC) where he is hospitalised.

Since the start of the high treason trial against him, Musharraf has not appeared before the court.

According to sources, Musharraf’s appearance before court is only possible if doctors allow him to leave the hospital.

He was admitted to the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology in Rawalpindi after he developed heart problems while being driven to the court.
