ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) on Thursday defused a bomb planted near Karachi Water and Sewerage Board s (KWSB) office in Site area, Dunya News reported.
Police were informed about a suspicious bag lying outside the office of Karachi Water & Sewerage Board in SITE industrial area this morning.
Meanwhile, the BDS officials arrived at the scene and recovered a 10 kg bomb connected with 2 detonators and a battery.
It took 30 to 45 minutes to defuse the bomb, an official saidn.
Later, the disposal squad conducted a perimeter search of the premises and declared the area safe.
