Summary Prices of petroleum will remain unchanged as Finance Ministry rejects OGRA’s recommendation.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government has rejected OGRA’s summery regarding decrease in petroleum products prices. However, a nominal decreased has been announced in kerosene oil prices.
Earlier, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural resources seeking a decrease in the prices of petroleum products.
According to the summary, a decrease of Rs 3 per litre for petrol and Rs 5.27 for diesel has been recommended.
If the summary is implemented the new price of petrol on February 1 will be Rs109.72 per litre.
Rs 4.50 decrease in the per litre price of kerosene oil has also been sought and Rs 4.28 per litre for light diesel.
