ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The special court has reserved its decision on the medical report of Pervez Musharraf. The judgment is likely to be issued by Registrar Abdul Ghani today.

The decision was reserved after the special court, setup to try Musharraf heard all the arguments over the medical report submitted by a panel of senior doctors.

A three-member bench headed by Justice Faisal Arab heard the allegations leveled against retired general Pervez Musharraf.

The prosecution team withdrew from the analytical report presented by Dr Ismail Bukhari. Special prosecutor Akram Sheikh had earlier submitted analytical report in court. The report stated that Musharraf had no serious complication, declaring his condition out of danger.

One of the lawyers representing Musharraf, Anwar Mansoor said his team had reservations over the analytical report, adding that they had no issues over the medical report.

Advocate Anwar also said that the exemption plea was submitted a bit late due to several proceedings in apex court, pleading that Musharraf should be given exemption from court appearance for another day.

Meanwhile, Akram Sheikh maintained that the special court didn’t have the authority to issue verdict over exemption plea.
