KARACHi (Web Desk) – At least two people were injured in a hand grenade explosion near Rangers’ check post in Nazimabad area today (Wednesday), Dunya News reported.
According to SSP Central, more than two attackers were involved in the incident.
The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
A cracker explosion also took place near Khyber Chowk in SITE area, however, no loss of life has been reported.
On the other hand, Rangers and police conducted a joint search operation in Shah Latif Town. More than one thousand Rangers personnel and policemen took part in the large scale operation.
Entry and exit points of the area were sealed and door to door search operation was launched.
Separately, three suspected criminals were arrested near Baloch Colony Pull. They were wanted in various street crime cases.
