CHARSADDA: (Dunya News) – Addressing a rally at Wali Bagh on Sunday, Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali said the government is exhibiting confusion instead of restoring peace.
“We need peace whether government achieves it through negotiations or by launching a military operation,” Khan said while addressing a public gathering in Charsadda on the death anniversary of Bacha Khan.
ANP chief said it’s provincial government’s responsibility to restore peace. Interior Minister speaks of negotiating with few groups but the nation or parliament is not taken into confidence about it, he added.
Khan further said that everyone protests against drone attacks but not against suicide bombing and the bombing in North Waziristan. He also said that the NATO supplies can be blocked at Karachi port as well. Many people want to change eighteenth amendment without realizing it could bear severe consequences, he said.
ANP chief slammed Kalabagh dam project saying it will not be tolerated at any cost. Tehrik-e-Insaf’s period is about to end and the future will be of ANP, he claimed.
