ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – More than 300 suspects were arrested during search operation in Sabzi Mandi area of Islamabad on Sunday morning.
The Islamabad police conducted search operation on a tip-off regarding the presence of illegal Afghans residents.
The search operation was headed by SSP Islamabad Dr Rizwan while around 400 personnel and commandoes of 12 police stations participated in the raid.
The entry and exit points of Kachi Abadi were sealed before the operation. Around 330 suspects were taken into custody and shifted to different police stations. Afghans, who were residing illegally in Islamabad, were also among the arrested persons.
