Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that ISI has been playing a key role in elimination and arrests of al-Qaeda leadership; however, deplored that the international community has not been helping Pakistan as is due on it in war against terror.Addressing Oxford University Students Union, the FM called upon the international community to help Pakistan enhance its strategic capabilities and uplift its economy.The FM observed that Pakistan India dialogue would resume soon, however, he called to make them result-oriented.Qureshi noted that judiciary had been giving immunity to the unconstitutional dictators under doctrine of necessity. However, he said that there is free judiciary and powerful parliament in the country.Acknowledging corruption as the biggest problem facing the country,the minister said that efforts were on to eradicate this menace.Referring to NRO, the minister said that the government respected the NRO rulings and did not want any clash between the institutions.He observed that sans ISI, it would be very difficult to curtail terrorism, and as such the criticism of the former was not justified.Bilawal Bhutto was also present on the occasion. Earlier, Qureshi held a half an hour meeting with Bilawal.
