(Web Desk) - Former military ruler Pervez Musharraf has filed Intra Court appeal in Islamabad High Court against the verdict of single bench of the court.
Musharraf has alleged that the constitution of a special court is the combined conspiracy by the prime minister and former chief justice of Pakistan, thus, it should not be allowed to work.
It may be mentioned here that the single bench headed by Justice Riaz Ahmad Khan had rejected Musharraf s petition against the appointment of prosecutor and judges of the special court.
The single bench had also dismissed the petition against setting up special court for his trial.
Musharraf has been summoned by the special court on January 1 to face treason charges under Article 6 of the constitution.
He has been accused of subverting, suspending and aborting the Constitution, imposing emergency in November 2007 and detaining the judges.
