Summary Protesters go berserk after alleged killing of a youth by the police.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - In Peshawar’s suburban area, a youth was allegedly killed by police firing. Anrgy mob came out on the streets to protest against the killing and set several police posts on fire.
According to the reports the youth was killed in a cross fire during a raid on the house.
The residents came out in protest and set ablaze police posts in the area.
Crossfire between the protestors and the police also took palce, it was reported.
Police tried in vain to disperse the protesters with teargas shelling and aerial fire.
After failing to quell the disturbance, police disappeared from the scene.
The protesters demanded an immediate arrest of the policemen allegedly involved in the killing of the youth.
