ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – At least nine people died while 27 others injured in a road accident on Sunday.
The accident occurred on Motorway Islamabad Toll Plaza when a passenger bus rammed into a parked trawler loaded with cement.
The collision left people trapped inside the bus which was headed from Lahore to Islamabad.
Soon after the incident, the rescue teams reached the site and shifted the injured passengers to nearby hospital.
According to police, the accident was a result of driver’s negligence.
There were around 70 passengers in the bus at the time of accident.
