Summary SHC had advised Musharraf's counsel to refer his bail matter to government or trial court.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Information Minister Pervez Rashid said the government was ready to send a special plane for former president Pervez Musharraf’s ailing mother to bring back her to Pakistan on humanitarian grounds.

Talking to media, he said all medical facilities would be provided to Musharraf’s mother in Pakistan.

Rejecting rumours over the safe-exit deals, Pervez Rashid said the government never made any offer to former military dictator.

He said the government s prosecution team will present proofs against Musharraf in court, adding that the judiciary will decide the fate of Musharraf.

Musharraf had been filing petitions to strike off his name from Exit Control List (ECL) so that he could see his 95-year-old mother who was seriously ill in Dubai.

Musharraf had been pleading courts that it was his desire to be with his mother after his release on bail.

However, all his petitions had been disposed of by the courts so far. In its order on latest petition, the Sindh High Court said that the matter did not fall under the legal jurisdiction of the SHC because the High Court had only approved interim bail for Musharraf.

The court advised Musharraf s counsel to refer the matter to the federal government or the trial court.
