ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said Pakistan desires to double the volume of trade with Turkey.
Talking to Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Islamabad‚ the Prime Minister stated that Pakistan attaches special importance to its relations with Turkey. He said both the countries have a shared vision in regional and global politics.
The Prime Minister said we encourage investment by Turkish businessmen in Pakistan. We have stable democracy‚ vibrant judiciary and proactive media to protect foreign investment.
Turkish Foreign Minister said Pakistan is a rising economic power and country of future. He said Pakistan s economy and stable democracy are on the right track. Turkey would be happy to have a positive role in Pakistan becoming an economic power.
He said the Turkish Prime Minister is coming to Pakistan with a large group of businessmen to establish close economic ties.
