Summary
One soldier was martyred while 8 others sustained injuries when a landmine was blasted in Jandola sector of South Waziristan. According to ISPR, militants attacked a Seeni Mela check post with mortar bombs which was retaliated by the security forces. In Shakai sector, militants pounded rocket at Punjai check post. In Rizmik sector, security forces recovered heavy arms and ammunition during search operation. Two militants surrendered themselves in Swat.
