Summary
At least three people were killed while several others got injured in Karachi violence. Six vehicles were set on fire by the angry people and shops were closed down after the violent incidents. Heavy contingent of police was deployed in the affected areas to maintain the law and order condition. Aerial firing incidents were also reported in different parts of the city. Earlier, four shops were robbed by some unknown people in the largest business market of Landhi. Robbers fled the scene. Robbers took cash and mobiles from the shop and escaped. After the incident, protesters blocked the roads and chanted slogans against the police. Business activities in Babar market were subdued due to the ongoing robberies.
